Yes the ending to the three day event, Christmas!

One of the most sweetest things happened that morning, it was the search for Santa. Ethan had heard everyone saying to him over and over "santa's coming to see you" so of course it's only natural that a 4 year old would take it literally. He got up out of his bed and walked in the living room saying "where Santa" and he was serious. He looked outside,and in the other rooms but when he found out that Santa could not stay he was soooo sad and a little disappointed. But when he looked at the presents under the tree all was forgotten. Till next year!

What a great Christmas this year has been with our families near and far. We want to thank you all for the gifts and the great memories to add to the end of 2011.

Thanks to my mom (nana and papaw)for having us over on Christmas eve's eve. For some yummy breakfast followed with exchanging presents at your house.

And as you can see from the pictures the boys absolutely loved their gifts.

Dallin is (trying to) help open Ethan's present however, Ethan easily stops him. It's so wonderful to see all the boys enjoy this time together.

Thanks uncle Zac and aunt Suz for the gifts! We were so happy to have uncle Zac over for dinner, and he brought over gifts. What an awesome family we have.

We were so excited to get everyone out and venture to the mall this year to visit with Santa.

Ethan, was not sure about talking with Santa but after much bribing he deciding to get in the line with me and the boys to see Santa. I think that he enjoyed it, he kept talking to him but would not look at him. Lance and I are so happy that he actually spoke with Santa our boy is getting bigger!

After much anticipation the twins were not trilled to see Santa for the first time. But, at least they did not cry!

I'm not sure if it's just me but do our kids look impressed? (or Santa) Gotta love Santa pics!

3 FIRST TIMERS FOR HALLOWEEN

For this years Halloween we all got to enjoy it and had a really good time.

The boys got to try some of the goodies Ethan got, they loved it, especially the lollipops.

Not even rain could hold back this first timer from going out to trick or treat. Last year Ethan was so sick that he missed out on going but this time he was ready to go!

We always try to go to our church for trunk and treat, and this year we had 2 dinos and a ghost.

Love our pumpkins and the one's on the table are cute as well.

PART 2. THING 1 AND THING 2

Happy birthday my sweet babies 10-9-10. I can not believe they are One! They have grown and changed in so many ways over this past year. We loved having our families over to enjoy this exciting day.
Drake and Dallin had a theme from The Cat in Hat books: Thing 1 and Thing 2. It was fun planning for a birthday party for twins, and I think that they are the cutest "things" in the world!

Of course we had to do a red cake with blue icing, and it was a sight to see. Dallin, had so much fun digging into the cake and he loved the taste of it. Then there was Drake, who did not care for it at all. It fact I don't think he would have even had any on him if Dallin was not there touching his face. That's what brothers are for, right?

Drake did not last long and he was done with this mess. So Lance gave him a bath, but not Dallin he was to busy having a good time enjoying the cake all to himself.

As you can see, Dallin really got into it. He would grab the cake and squeeze the icing into his hands, some how it got onto his hair.

BIRTHDAY AND BLESSINGS PART 1

We are so thankful that the twins were blessed and introduced into our church on their birthday. The spirit was so strong and you could really feel it while Lance was giving each son their blessing. It was wonderful to have families from both sides to enjoy this special occasion with us.

The twins did so good while getting all these pictures taken of them. We are so blessed for having these 2 sweet spirits in our lives.

Yea! It was great to have my mom and Arturo( Nana and Papaw) to be at the blessings, and of course aunt carol;}. Thank you all for helping with this day and making it special for Drake and Dallin.

Ethan had yummy chocolate cupcakes with his pre-k class that I brought on Friday to his school. Then on Saturday we had a small birthday at McDonald's(at his request) where his grandparents, cousin Zander and family celebrated with him. He had a wonderful birthday.

In honor of turning four, I will tell you 4 things about Ethan. 1-he loves dinosaurs.2-enjoys going to school.3-likes eating chicken, and candy.4-always ready to sing along to songs on the radio.

Can't believe that we now have a four year old! Time has gone by so fast and Ethan is such a delight to have in our lives. We love you Ethan.

Here are just some random pictures that I took of all the little ones.
Ethan is a silly almost 4 yr old, and he still loves Dinosaurs.

Here are the boys with my mom(nana) and her husband( papaw). So glad that they got to spend some time with the boys while Lance and I went out.

Behind our house there is a hay field, and we got to meet the man that owns the land while he was on his tractor. If anyone knows Ethan, they would know that he loves tractors and this day he got to ride on one. He smiled the whole time!

The twins did a great job throughout the day, and so did Lance pushing them up a hill!

We loved looking at these large American Alligators. They where just chill-in..

This Cougar was one of the coolest animals that we got to get up close to. For some reason it was trying to get some attention from Ethan, and he just loved it!

If you get a chance to do the 4d adventure of Dora and Diego, do it!

Ethan was absolutely so excited to feed the giraffe's up on the giraffe deck. I could not believe that we got to touch and feed them so close we were literally eye to eye. So well worth the extra dollars to see Ethans face experiencing this moment.

North Carolina Zoo

So, in May Lance and I decided to be brave and take Ethan and the twiners to the Zoo. We had told Ethan that after he turned 3 and (we had enough money) we would take him to see the animals! He was so excited, the night before all he was talking about was the zoo. We thought that the best time to go would be doing the week, so we all packed up and left that Wednesday morning. It only took about an hour and 1/2 to get there. Surprisingly the babies and Ethan did very well in the van.

Ethan loved playing inside these dinosaur eggs.

One of the Newest attraction's at the Zoo is to see the "swamp ghost" aka white alligator. Of course we were excited to see it after taking a picture in front of the huge wall display of the exhibit. However, they must have been baby alligators because the picture of Ethan being scared of the gator is not the same size of the one in the exhibit picture. Oh well, they were really cool to look at.

Now we get to the elephants, giraffe's, and zebra's. I think this is what Ethan had been waiting for since we got there. He loved looking at these wonderful amazing animals. Our little guy was so happy. FYI....more pictures of the zoo to come!!

Napping in the swing makes Dallin have a nice little snooze. He is sleeping like his daddy, hand up to his head. Everyone tells us how much he looks like Lance.

I just love this picture of Drake with food all on his face! He is really a happy baby and is so cute sitting in the bumbo eating his food. He is our chunky monkey! Look at those big feet!

Ethan was so funny, when he came around the corner wearing (yes, my bra on his head)! He said "look I got big binoculars"! This boy is saying and doing the funniest things these days and keeping us laughing all the time.

This is mothers day this year with all 3 of my boys. Last year this time the two little ones were inside growing, and now here they all are with me! What a great day, it was!

Dinner for two! Dallin and Drake really love to eat veggies and cereal with fruit. Daddy is doing a great job keeping up with us.

It is so funny to watch Drake try to put his fingers into Dallin's mouth.

Time for strawberries

Ethan went on his last field trip of the year with his pre-k class to a strawberry patch.

I am so happy that I was able to go and see Ethan have so much fun at Porter Farms looking for strawberries. They got to go through and fill up their baskets first, then they ate lunch and finally finished up with home made ice cream. Yum, the strawberry was his favorite!

Ethan had the best time looking for those big red strawberries. He would ask me " is this one a good one momma" he's a really good picker!

Dallin is doing so good on his tummy, he has rolled once and I know it will not be long now.

Have you ever seen a smile like this, it just melts my heart. Drake is always smiling up at you and he really looks like he is trying to understand what you are saying. I am so thankful that daily I get to see these beautiful boys grow.

We are just hanging around! The boys are almost 6months old and doing very well. Dallin is on the left and Drake is on the right. They have just found an interest in each other, so its cute to see their relationship grow.

I just love this picture of all the boys. Here is Dallin looking up at Ethan giving him the I don't think so look. Now Ethan is thinking not another picture mom,( by this time I think I had taken 10 pictures, so he was so done with me). Then here is my little patient Drake, he is just being so good hoping that it will be the last picture, priceless!

Hi everyone, so it's been awhile since I have posted anything, life has been busy with 5mo twins and a 3 year old. But thanks for all the emails and calls reminding me that I needed to get going and update the blog.
So enjoy the next couple of updated posts!!!

The boys are going to the Doctors here to get there Synagis shot. Something that they receive once a month to help prevent a serious lung disease caused by RSV for babies born early.

5 months already

It seems like time is flying by and all I want to do is make it stop so I can enjoy every little moment with them. Even though they where born at the same time they are two different boys.

Here is a little of what they are doing:
Drake, is our more laid back baby. He is 13 pounds now, long ways from 2 1/2 pounds. He has developed a great personality. He's a charmer with a smile that will melt your heart. He does not like tummy time, but can handle sitting with support. He loves sucking on his fingers and can blow bubbles out of his mouth like no other. He loves talking with Daddy, and bath-time. And he sleeps 5-6 hours at night.

Dallin, what a handsome boy he is. He was our tiny 2 pounder at birth now weighting over 12 1/2pounds. He has more hair than Drake but a little shorter in length. He is the gotta have it now baby or I will scream my head off. He prefers to be held or on the breast nursing (sorry for putting it so bluntly but it's the truth). He is very alert at everything and has found himself in the mirror. He loves to be entertained by Ethan. Sleeping about 5hours at night now. He is doing a great job on tummy time and can grasp things in his hand.

Ethan and Lance make valentines cookies together for the first time, they really did taste good.
Ethan made sure that I had a taste too.

Ethan was so excited about making cookies with his dad. It's now his favorite thing to do with Lance, and his dad is so patient with him. It was so cute to see my two guys (one little and one big) in the kitchen making sugar cookies.

Then and Now

I was looking at how much all our boys had grown and changed. Its amazing to look back and see how small our 3 boys were when born and to realize that they have come along way.

Here I am holding Drake and Dallin in the hospital, I think they had been there about 4 weeks. Dallin on the left and Drake on the right.

Wow, that's Ethan and me a week after we brought Ethan home from the hospital. Do the boys favor him? I think Dallin favors Ethan when Ethan was this small.
Ok, there's been some changes with me also :}

Just look at our handsome son. He was born 2lbs 15oz and now is 3 years old and over 34lbs. He has come a long way!

Here we are, I can't believe that they are both over 10lbs! This picture was taken on my birthday which was this month, it was a very happy birthday...Thanks to my family and friends!

Can anyone guess which one this is?
It's probably not who you think it is.
I'll keep you guessing.........

3 months already!

I can not believe that the twins are 3 months. Yet they have been home with us and out of the hospital just over a month now.
I know that a lot of you have not seen Drake and Dallin in person since it's the flu and RSV season.
So, I wanted to share with you 3 things that have been going on in our little bubble at home.

Number 1.DIAPERS, DIAPERS, DIAPERS! I have never changed so many in my life. It is so different from having one baby in diapers to having two babies in diapers. I believe we go through 20 diapers a day between the 2 of them. Now times that by 7 days, that's a 140 in a week!
Number 2.NO SLEEP! Now I know that its expected after having a baby, trust me we dealt with that after Ethan. However, no one could have prepared us for the amount of no sleep you would get with twins. They were on the same schedule in the hospital but lets just say things are very different now. One wakes up to eat and the other sleeps or needs a diaper change while the other is being rocked to go back to sleep. Get my point, we are trying everything to get the little ones on the same schedule again. TRUST ME.
Number 3.OK so this last one was a toss up for Lance and I. I said that I have developed double the amount of gray hair and bags under my eyes. He said a lack of just having time to do anything other than make runs to Walmart for more diapers!
After it's all said and done and we are dragging on the floor trying to keep up with these demanding, growing. machine eating boys I would NOT change it for the world.

Christmas and Snow!

Watching Ethan open his gifts was so fun this year. He is getting older and is really enjoying tearing into the paper and playing with the gifts.

Snow after Christmas! We got around 8 inches and it was so pretty. Lance and Ethan played in it and made a huge snowman.
Ethan really got into it this year and had a blast with his daddy.

Our Christmas picture 2010, don't ask how many times it took us to get this one. And of course Ethan is still not looking at the camera! But, look at the pretty smile he his giving his daddy.

Christmas morning with the 2 candy canes just hanging out in bed. Some how you find a way to hold both at the same time and it feels so good! I love my little guys.

Ethan got this 4 wheeler from grandma Addie this year. I can't wait for it to warm up outside so he can get on and ride around. He was a little scared to sit on it but I hope that he will see how cool it is and love it.

Hope everyone had as good of a Christmas holiday as we did being with your loved ones. We are so thankful for having the twins home and our family together.

Leaving the hospital

It's here, the day had come. We are taking the boy's home! One last diaper change in the hospital bed before we put Drake in the car seat to go home.

Cute are what!!!!! 2 by 2 bundled up for the cold weather outside on this Saturday night. Here they are waiting for their daddy to bring the van to patient discharge so we can get out of here. Drake is on the left and Dallin is on the Right.
Ethan gets his first sight of the boy's, he really does not know what is going on. However, they brought him a dinosaur gift so he is really happy. Thanks for the advice Cherre!!!

Ready or not here they come 12-6-10

I can not believe that Drake and Dallin are home. It's finally here. As of Monday night they were discharged from Wake medical hospital. We are so thankful for the wonderful staff that provided great care for our little ones. We are also thankful to our friends and families that have emailed, called and prayed on our behalf.
They are home after spending 58 days in the NICU.
A little about Drake, he is weighing 6lbs 8.8oz just a cutie pie!
Then there's Dallin, he is weighing 5lbs 15.4oz what a little ham he is! Catching up to Drake.
They have there first doctor's appointment on Wednesday to get a weight check, wish us luck.
We are so happy and blessed that they where able to leave at the same time. We were told that it is rare that multiples go home on the same day. We know that our prayers have been answered and Ethan is adjusting to all this excitement.
We will keep you posted and get pics of all the boys soon!

Two Personalities! 11-28-10

Drake is our little serious one. He is usually content until he has a dirty diaper or hunger kicks in than it's your going to hear from me. He weighs 5lbs and 14oz as of today and has very dark black hair. Out of my 3 boys he has been born with the most hair. He is a tough cookie see his dino shirt!

Dallin has the sweetest little face there is. He is always smiling. Yes, he's smiling even when the picture is being taken where he's in the background of Drake. He makes all the nurses and staff smile too. He is patient and more laid back. He weighs 5lbs and 7oz today. I can not believe how much they have grown, hope we will have them home soon.....

Mommy and me time! Yea! Drake is now on room air and has no need for assistance anymore, this is a major milestone and is weighing over 4 1/2lbs... I just love to hold Drake and look at his little face and take it all in. I can't believe that they are over a month old now.
Drake is a beautiful baby (if I may say so). He is a good sleeper but when he is ready to eat, that milk better get to his stomach fast or else.

I'm changing his diaper and checking his temperature getting him ready to eat. He's yawning saying hurry mom I'm hungry.

Now fed and asleep I wonder what it will be like once he's home? Again, what more can I say he is soooo cute.

A baby shower to remember 11-6-10

I am so lucky to have a friend and a mama plan such a beautiful baby shower for me. I can't thank them enough for not only giving me a wonderful shower but having to plan it twice. Since the first time we had to cancel because Drake and Dallin were coming early. Thanks Cherre and Mama for getting this shower put together. I loved it!

I received many wonderful gifts for the boys, but I just had to put this one on the blog. Mary from my church made these cute train blankets for Drake and Dallin. She is so talented.

They decided to do a brunch, which I thought was a great idea and the food was excellent.

What a cute and tasty cake! I love the blue buddies. Thanks to everyone who made it a very special day.

Ethan's first time at the Fair 2010!

We are so excited that Ethan got to go to the fair this year, after waiting till he was old enough to enjoy it. Here we stand in front of the building to buy our tickets all eager to see what awaits on the other side.
Lance's mother Millie and her friend Rod went with us to the fair, and it was there first time also.

Standing in front of the midway! This area is where all the BIG rides are and when it gets dark the midway lights up.
We went to the petting zoo and Ethan had a blast (I think grandma Millie did too). He could have stayed in there the whole time. Ethan wanted to get to all the animals so he could feed them. We got to see goats, camels, llamas, and cows.

By the time we got to the rides for Ethan we were tired and ready to go. But Ethan had to play the fishing game to win this sponge bob bat. He was excited about that bat. Look at my little man standing in front of one of the many kiddie rides with his bat! He was so fun to watch, we can't wait till next year!

Today, I got to hold Drake and Dallin together for the first time. It feels so nice to have our little boys in my arms.This was a great way to spend Halloween!
If you look at the picture you will see that
Dallin is on the left side and Drake is on the right. Can you tell who is who on the next pictures? Drake is the one with his eye opened. Dallin is snoozing away.
At this point they are doing well and gaining weight Drake weighs almost 3 1/2lbs and Dallin is a little over 3 lbs.

It's Halloween?

We had a sick little Ethan for the past week, with fighting off a cold/upper respiratory infection. It started off last Monday and went the whole week, even missing out on Halloween this year. The good news is that he is finally moving around and being more of himself. Ethan is such a cutie, and looks so pitiful when he is not feeling so good. So we hope that this will pass soon.

A little about the Twins..........

We wanted to tell you all the news if you have not already heard about the twins birth. On the 29Th week and 5Th day of my pregnancy they entered the world on 10-9-10 at 3:10pm for baby A and 3:11pm for baby B. With baby A being named Drake and baby B Dallin. Drake weighing in at 2 lbs 11 oz and little Drake weighing in at 2 lbs and 1 oz.
We have been very busy to say the least these past couple of days since the arrival of the boys. They are in the NICU getting the best care in the world.
We are pleased to say that they are strong spirited individuals and are giving it everything they got.
We appreciate ALL the prayers of love and support from our family and friends. We have truly felt the power of prayer! Thanks for the phone calls and emails that have been so uplifting for us.
We will continue to give updates on their status as time goes on. For now we take it day by day and continue to pray.

In the spirit of Halloween I bring to you these spooky images of ghosts from the "House of Haunted Wilson's."

Seen here is the the tortured and angry ghost of Lance "the madman" Ellett. He was spotted in the house around October of last year.

"O" this one is great, getting a picture of a single ghostly aspiration is rare but look here Four definite P.Oed ghosts. This house is truly haunted!

Wow, this image shows a women not only scary but taunting the photographer. As you can tell in the back ground she had brought her slaves with her to haunt the inhabitants of the Wilson House!
After much research I was able to find the name of this spirit and it is Beth "the slaughtering monarch" Ellett.

Below is the most horrifying image taken that ghastly night. Clearly the each demon spirit did not want us there that night. The manics on the left and right were once said to have lived in the Wilson home. Until, they disappeared without a trace on the night of Halloween. Its said they entrap the souls of all who enter living or dead and cause them to pose with funny faces and take pictures of them with little green lights. AAAAAHHHHHH.

That was kind of fun, but the real reason to update the blog was to say, Dallin and Drake are here. After the delivery on the 9th both are doing well. Beth is doing fantastic! much more will be coming about this wonderful event in our life's. Thanks to all who prayed for us and helped us in any way!!!

Im a big kid now!

I can't believe another year has gone and our first born is now 3 years old! Ethan is such a energetic, funny, loving kid. He has brought so much joy to our lives. Sorry the pictures are backwards, but anyway this is what was left of the cake and Ethan got to enjoy what was left of his cake the next day. Look at that cute smile!

We had grandparents, cousins, aunt's and uncle's at the party but the one thing we did different was to invite Ethan's friends over from church. Well, here they are playing on the swing set they really had a good time. I'm so glad that we had friends over.

Ethan told us that he wanted a Ni-Hao Kai- lan cake she's like Dora but she is Chinese. He did not want a Dinosaur or cars cake only Kai- lan and he was sure of it. So he blew out the number 3 candle and was so happy about his cake.

It was like Christmas at our house Ethan received so many things from his family and friends. I think Zander his cousin, is checking out the cool things Ethan got and hoping that Ethan will forget about one or two of them. Thanks to everyone for enjoying Ethan's birthday with us.

Trip to Wrightsville beach

So here we are at the sound side looking out from the house we stayed at. Look at this wonderful view, and Ethan could not get enough of the water. The sound is sooo much better to swim in if you are not crazy about the sand, rough waves or afraid of getting stung by something.
Ethan was happy to swim with his Nana (my mom) he just thinks she is the funniest thing ever. I am so glad that we got to take this trip with her even though we were only there 2 days, it was worth it!

Ethan decided that while daddy was building sand castle's, he would sneak off and play in the sand by himself. I can not believe how sneaky they are at this age, he wanted to be on his own. How cute and big is he?

As we were leaving we made time for one last picture, I know that it will be some time before we make it back to the beach. Next time we go will have more little ones with us. What an awesome time this trip was!

Well we finally got a minivan! Woo, what a crazy time for us. We sold both cars in order to get a minivan for this growing family. By the way I am 21 weeks prego in the picture. We knew that 3 car seats would not fit in either cars so getting a van was the only thing. I am so thankful that we were able to sell both cars and buy the van that we wanted most. Plus, having a great mom that gave us her car when we needed it for the past month.

I forgot to say that lance will be driving his dads old pick up 90 ford ranger, that's it behind the van. However it has no air condition so that's the next task for us.

Lance, could not make it to the pool with us, he was in his first day of Radiology class. But we got to go with nana Addie (my mom) cousins Jessie, Emily and another friend. Ethan loved the pool but he really enjoyed this play area for the little ones.

The summer is going fast and before you know it we will be putting up Halloween things but until then gotta love summer time! Ethan had the best smile, like (catch me if you can). He loved going through the tunnel of squirting water.

This is our Izzie girl. We have had her since January and we were told that she could have a little Sheppard husky or terrier, what do you think? Either way she is a great dog and we love the pink nose on her.

Here it is, are you ready?
They are both boys!!!
We are very happy and excited to add two more boys to our little family.
Ethan will be a big 3 year old in September and the twins are due in December.
A big thanks to our friends and family for all your love and support.
We have lots to look forward to in the upcoming months and will keep you posted.

A View From The Past

Ethan was around five or six months here. I can't believe how much he has changed. He has really brought a lot of happiness into our life.

Anytime you want to find Ethan just look for him at the computer with Da-Da. Looking for animals and choo-choo's.

It's amazing how fast time goes by and before you know it, he is a little boy.

Check him out! He loves to pretend to drive in anything. I can't believe that he was moving the sticks around. Before we know it, he will be asking for a car! YIKES!!

He loves to rock out on his guitar! Ethan is so talented that he can jump and play at the same time. He sure is cute!

THE 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION

It's hot outside but eating cold watermelon helps. Ethan loves watermelon so much that he rolled this one over to the living room, for someone to "o-pen"...Of course his elephant had to eat some too.

We went to Lake Benson Park for fireworks that evening. It all started with a free kids area to play games and we got to listen to the huge symphony orchestra play wonderful patriot music. We had so much fun watching Ethan play the toss game.

Here is the gang, we had some great friends come down to spend the 4th with us. Yes, Lance is eating a rocket Popsicle!

Ethan had the best of time playing with those glow in the dark necklaces's (we all did). Thumbs up to Billy for getting them, Ethan made a new best friend.

Finally fireworks! It started late, but well worth it. The finale was amazing, I just wished our camera was better so you could see how awesome they were. Hope everyone had a great July 4th!

Here they are! Look at the 2 sacs. On the left we have a cool picture of the baby's spine and this baby is in a down ward position. The second baby on the right we can only see the top of the head.

In this picture the doctor said that he could see feet and hands. So I guess that's what we are looking at. We can't tell, any suggestions?

Lance and I are So happy and very blessed. We were very surprised to find out that there were two. It's funny how fast you go from a family of 3 to a family of 5. The Lord really answers prayers!

Easter eggs in Virginia

We decided to go to Virginia and see our friends and have a Easter weekend with them. One place that we went to was Dismal Falls. It is a place that the locals know about, because it's up in the Mountain. It was breathtaking!

Lance got the courage to climb up to the roaring falls and to see if he could touch it. He made it! He was so happy when he made it to the top and so was I.
This was my favorite picture of father and son. Just sitting and watching the water run down the river. I know that there are few moments like this one. I love my family!

Like I said eggs in a farm! Hi pig watching Ethan. I was watching the pig, sometimes he liked to throw dirt on the kids. Ethan was able to go to a Easter egg hunt and find not only plastic eggs but chicken and duck eggs as well. He also got to color some eggs earlier that day, that was so fun! Have you ever colored a duck egg?

Our Trip To Concord Mills Mall

Have you ever seen a Moose at the Mall? If you are at the Bass Pro Shop you will! Ethan loved being inside this store, where he could see a ton of animals everywhere. It was like walking around in nature without being afraid.
We took some time to shoot the gun at some targets, at the shooting arcade. Ethan was really excited to aim at the red dots and make the shot with Daddy. It was so cute to watch Ethan be so serious with Lance at making the target.
Ethan could have stayed inside this one store all day, especially when we made it over to the fish tank. They even had a man cleaning the tank, which entertained the kids.
I know that Ethan had a blast looking at all the different fishes in the tank. Just check out that BIG smile!
Of course the mall even had a Choo Choo Train that you could ride on. Ethan has never been so excited to do something before, so we got on for the ride. He got to choose which cart to sit in, so we sat behind the conductor. He really loved the train and was happy the rest of the day. He is our big boy!

Snow Storms 2010

Finally we got snow on January 31st. It was so pretty and right at 4 inches it was just enough to have fun in. We spent most of that Saturday and Sunday since church was cancelled outside playing. Ethan Loved it!

We made homemade sleds out of underpinning of my moms trailer. It worked great, we all took turns holding Ethan. Then my mom sat him on there all by himself and away he went. I am so glad that I got pictures and video of it.

This picture is of Ethan looking at all the no-w aka snow he could not say snow. Ethan could not wait to go and touch it.

We had so much fun sledding from the top of our driveway. The only thing was there was no way to stop. Ethan was not scared he just kept saying more, more to do it again.

I wanted to get a picture before we went inside to warm up of Ethan on this log with our dog Izzie. We got her in January and she is now about 12 weeks old. Ethan sat on the log but she would not be still long enough to get the 2 of them in a picture. Over all it was wonderful to see how much fun Ethan had in the snow this year.

CHRISTMAS 2009

Lance made wonderful pancakes for us on Christmas morning. They were so yummy! He is the BEST! Ethan is also cooking something in the kitchen with daddy....or getting in the way, but it was cute to watch them together.

Every year since I was a kid we have always went down to my Aunt Grace's house on Christmas eve and this year was no different. Ethan is always the entertainer of the night, since he is the only toddler running around. He gets SO much attention from his cousins, great aunt and my dad/ grandaddy. But this year I got the best attention from Ethan, it was a huge hug, it was priceless. All of a sudden he ran up and laid one on me. I am so glad that Lance had the camera ready.

Look at the bubbles everywhere in the kitchen! Ethan got a train that blows out bubbles (tons of them) he loves it. When he opened this present he said pop pop. I am so glad that we decided to get it for him even though they make a wet floor ,but it is worth seeing him get so excited.

My mom and pa pa came over to give Ethan his gifts that Monday before Christmas. Ethan is always so happy to see them, but when he opened the baseball stand he was super thrilled. Lance had to hurry and put it together so Ethan could play with it right away.He loves to play the wii baseball game and now he can play for real. To be only 2 years old he is really good at hitting the ball. I think he may be pro one day!!

My mom also got Ethan this guitar that makes really cool sounds. Ethan loves to hold it like a rocker while someone holds the wii guitar and rock out together. We had a super Christmas this year and have been truely blessed. We love you all!

Blizzard of 09

Peek a boo! Ethan was yelling Ma Ma out loud so I ran to see what it was about. This is what I found, he was stuck in the dryer. He got in but was not sure how to get out. It was so cute.

Ethan in my shoes mopping the floor (so he thought). In the picture you see our cat Scoot we got him from my sister Sherry. He was so little and bright orange. Ethan loves to play with Scoot.

Can you believe how much snow there is on our car?! This was the blizzard we got while visiting our friends up in Virginia. I could not believe that it snowed over 14 inches while we were there. It was FUN!

What a sight. I had not seen this much snow since I was a kid. Of course Lance thought it was like being back in Utah. We all went tubing down the Mountain. It was great.

Can there be a more happier kid than this? Ethan would grab the guts and squeeze it in his hands while digging into the pumpkin. Ethan was not scared to put his hands inside the pumpkin, compared to last year he would not even touch one!

We went over to Uncle Zac and Aunt Susie's house for trick-or-treating with the kids. Look at the cute froggy and fish.

I think Ethan loves Halloween like his mom, he had such a great time and loved those pumpkins...

It's getting late and the froggy is tired but there's always time for one last picture. The rest of the family is somewhere behind us (scattered) there were kids everywhere.

UTAH TRIP

Here we are at the Hill Aerospace Museum with Ethan's cousins and Grandma Millie. It was cool seeing all the old aircraft , but Ethan didn't care he was to busy running around with all the girls.

Ethan had so much fun with Uncle Brett, and I think Brett had fun with him too.

Aunt Sareena and grandma Millie gave Ethan a huge birthday party while we stayed at Sareena's house. With 17 grand kids there, grandma Millie stayed busy making really awesome balloons for everyone. Lance also wanted a balloon, can you find him?

Ethan had a Thomas The Train birthday theme, he was so excited.
We had worked all week long practicing on blowing out a candle and it paid off HE DID IT ON CUE! It was SO cute.

Bowling in August

We went to the bowling alley with grandma Addie on her birthday and it was so fun. We had the game room all to ourselves. Ethan got to bowl for the 1st time. My mom is holding down the petal and Ethan is driving{yes he did really drive}.

Ethan rolls his ball.....slowly we wait for it to hit the pins. I had a hard time helping him roll his ball and holding him back at the same time. He wanted to do it all by himself!

August Fun

Ethan, Beth and I went to a friends community pool and soaked up some water and sun. Ethan was so tired he sat in this chair and watched the kids playing in the pool.

This was after a bath and Ethan had to streak across the living room and get his golf club. Checkout his crazy hair it was really funny!

We had a great time at the beach with my family. Weather was perfect for some fun in the sun. Ethan loved to look at the seashells with Lance.

Outer Banks Trip

This was our first beach trip with Ethan, May 2008! Ethan loved the lazy pool! We had a great time with grandma Addie,grandpa and Billy. we even got to stay at a really nice penthouse room where we could see all of Myrtle Beach S.C. It was bike week (those of you who are not sure what that is it's when all bikes from all over the country go down and ride around and have tons of fun at the beach). Our view from the room
